Gargoyle Mobiloil Sign

Large Porcelain Street Signs

Most gas stations had at least one large sign on a pole by the street. These signs were usually 6 feet in diameter and double sided. Lots of these type of signs were round but some like Phillips 66 would be shaped like their logo. They would be mounted on a pole or would hang. The image above is a great example of an Oldsmobile Service station sign 6’ in diameter. These size signs are heavy, especially if they are still on the pole or in a steel ring. Despite their size and weight we are strong buyers for these gas and service station signs. We will travel to you, pay you in person and load them up. Just give us a call or text at 316-371-1828 or email signs@nationsattic.com

Medium Sized Porcelain Station Signs

In addition to the large signs, gas stations would have smaller signs in the 4’ and under range. Many times these signs would be by the curb or mounted to the side of the building. Sometimes these Porcelain signs would be single or double sided. The Mobiloil sign above is a classic example of a curb sign that we are always interested in buying. Steel, porcelain, tin, glass, what ever these gas station signs are made of, we are strong top of the market buyers for them. Some gas and oil brands are worth more than others and condition is a factor. No matter what type of vintage gas station signs you have, send us some photos or give us a call. We are easy to talk to and work with! 316-371- 1828 / signs@nationsattic.com
Antique Restroom Clean Signs Antique Neon Pegasus Sign

Smaller Porcelain Station Signs

Inside gas stations, like today, there were plenty of signs for various products. The Sani Clean Rest Rooms sign above seems like something with a limited market, but we do have customers for them. Small signs ranging from 6” to 12” are something we are interested in buying. These type of signs usually were single sided but there were also flange signs that had images on both sides. The gas pumps outside many times would have signs in small sizes mounted to them. These signs are single sided with mounting holes in them. Regardless of the brand, we buy these signs. If you are not sure what your gas or service station sign is worth, just email or text us a few photos and we will reply right back to you. Text us at 316-371-1828 or signs@nationsattic.com

Large Neon & Porcelain Station Signs

Some gas stations or service stations utilized large porcelain signs with neon. These signs are usually fairly large in size and weight. The Mobil pegasus above is a classic example of a neon gas station sign and one we are very interested in purchasing.  In the 21st Century, getting neon fixed and repaired is very expensive so that is a big factor when determining a selling price. Most vintage gas station signs that had neon on them will have holes in the sign where the glass tubing traveled through the sign. While these holes visually don’t look to good, that is why they are there. If your vintage gas sign had or has neon on it, give us a call, text or email, we are very strong buyers for these type of signs. signs@nationsattic.com or 316-371-1828
